Welcome to Riverview
The Riverview Resthome and Village was established in January 1994 by the Maungaturoto Community Charitable Trust Inc (MCCT) and opened on the 16th July 1994. Centrally located, at 136 Hurndall Street Maungaturoto, an easy stroll out to Maungaturoto township.
We are currently a sixteen-bed rest home, fourteen bed Dementia unit with an new eight bed rest home wing in the pipeline.
Riverview’s Residential Village, adjacent to the rest home, offers eleven rental units and fourteen ‘own your own’ units. A medical center, operated by Coast to Coast Health, provides convenient onsite care for all residents.
We may be a small country town, but we are a great and mighty community. Our values here at Riverview are that of Family. We welcome you with opens arms and hope you enjoy our facilities and team of wonderful caring staff.
An ever changing need
As our loved, elderly community continue to grow, we at Riverveiw adapt and grow to with them. With our new 14 bed Dementia unit now in operation and a brand new 8 bed rest home wing in the pipeline.
We are always striving for excellence, upgrading our services, skills and facilities.
Our dedicated team continue to upskill and grow to take the best possible care of our beautiful residents.
